Stephen has served with Baptist Student Ministry for the past six years as a cross-cultural consultant at UT Dallas. He holds a degree in Church Ministry from Hardin-Simmons University and an M.A. in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. Stephen and his wife Penny have been married for 20 years and have three teens—one in college and two in high school. With 15 years of Human Resources experience, he delights in guiding college students to discover how God can use their interests, talents and career goals to fulfill God's purpose for their lives.

Mark is the BSM Director at UT Dallas and also coordinates college ministry efforts at 15+ college campuses across Dallas and Collin counties. He has served in college ministry for over 17 years and is himself a product of BSM. He graduated from Angelo State University with a degree in Biochemistry and holds a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. Mark is married to his wonderful wife, Kaitlin, and they have two amazing kids. Coffee is his love language, and he’d love to chat with you over a cortado!
Jacob Gaines
Wiley Campus and UT Dallas
Jacob is the Outreach Coordinator for Collin College at Wiley. He was a student leader with BSM at UT Dallas and joined BSM as a TXBSM Missionary in 2025. Jacob has a degree in Animation and recently married his wife Emily. Jacob loves the outdoors and is an avid camper. He is a natural connector and quickly establishes common ground and trust with everyone he meets.
Thomas Maurer
Frisco Campus and UNT Frisco
Thomas is an Outreach Coordinator for Collin College at Frisco and UNT Frisco. He serves full-time as Director of Young Adults at Providence Church in Frisco, TX. He has a Bachelors of Communications from the University of Missouri and is finishing up is Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary this summer. His passion is to help college students and young professionals walk intimately with their Savior by teaching biblical truth, sound doctrine, and living life on life discipleship. Thomas is excited about what the Lord is doing on college campuses and is eager for the future!
Kade McDonald
Frisco Campus & UNT Frisco
Kade an Outreach Coordinator for Collin College at Frisco and UNT Frisco. He serves full-time as Director of College and Career at Frisco First Baptist Church. He has a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas, and is working on his Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theology Seminary. Additionally, Kade is a baseball coach for the United Baseball Club. Whether he is at church, on campus, or on the field, Kade’s mission is to worship God and make Jesus’ name known.
Ryan Tew
McKinney Campus
Ryan an Outreach Coordinator for Collin College at McKinney. He serves full-time as the lead pastor at Highlands Baptist Church in Anna. Ryan and his wife Sarah have been married since 2010 and have three children. He has experience in business, international missions, and pastoral ministry. He holds a Masters in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ryan and his family have lived in Melissa, TX since 2019 and love their community. Their hope is to see the kingdom of God spread through the local church in their city and beyond.
Jacqueline Worley
Plano Campus

Jacqueline is the BSM Plano Campus Coordinator. She serves as the Missions Team leader at Prairie Creek Baptist Church in Plano. She has volunteered with BSM lunches since Fall 2022. She studies at B. H. Carroll Theological Institute for an MDiv in Chaplaincy. Last Fall, she was endorsed as a chaplain for BSM at Collin College. She has been a member of Prairie Creek Baptist Church since December 1990 and has worked at Legacy Church Preschool for 7 years. She and her husband, Reuben, raised 5 children in Plano.
